1. Accepting these terms

By signing into STARPUP you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Account eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA) and have a GitHub account older than 7 days. Accounts may be limited or banned for abusive behavior as defined in the Community Guidelines.

3. Content you post

You retain ownership of code, text, and media you upload. You grant STARPUP a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the service.

4. Credits & $STARPUP token

"Credits" are non-transferable, have no cash value outside the platform, and may be revoked for abuse. The $STARPUP token is a utility token on the Solana blockchain, used solely for in-game utility (company creation, HQ tier upgrades, premium cosmetics, event entry). The token is not a security, carries no profit expectation or dividend, and STARPUP makes no representation as to its market price. You are solely responsible for reporting any taxes related to your crypto holdings or trading activity according to your jurisdiction. STARPUP does not issue fiscal statements or tax forms.

5. Bounties

Bounty posters escrow the reward at creation. Upon assignment, disputes are resolved by STARPUP staff based on the submitted work and the bounty description. Decisions are final.

6. Prohibited conduct

Harassment, fraud, money laundering, circumvention of bans, and use of the platform to transfer value outside platform-sanctioned flows are prohibited and will result in termination and forfeiture of balances.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings; data is permanently purged 30 days after deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, STARPUP disclaims all warranties and limits liability to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.

10. Changes

We may update these terms with at least 14 days notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
